In – Feed
In – Feed is commonly used for grinding relatively complex shaped parts. The ground surface does not need to be right circular cylinder since the parts are not axially fed to the workpiece due to the complexity of the part shapes and the grinding wheel shapes. The workpiece is manually loaded and the grinding wheel is dressed to accommodate the part.
